Having written the initial draft of the high school resume of yours, leave it for a couple of day or so. You would do well by not looking at the resume for a while. Then you should proofread it. While proofreading:
- Double check every grammar and spelling
- Verify that every contact detail is accurate and updated
- See to it that the education part contains your date of graduation and present status.
- Ensure that you have put in your achievements
- Never mention names of your references
- Keep the resume to a single page
- Make the formatting uniform
- Put in the volunteer work that you’ve been a part of
- Include your interests and unique skills that could be of use at the job
